But it appears the State is refusing to help. According to the Olympian newspaper the state has told them the release of information for a civil lawsuit would jeopardize federal highway safety funds.

The surgery PA told me to becareful as to not over do it, so I will be cycling a few times a week to start. Once I got to work I felt a little discomfort but nothing like prior to the sugery. The stairs up to the lab went easy with need of the hand rail. This was a striking difference to the one commute prior to surgery where I almost couldn’t even make the stairs due to the pain.

  • Gear used: North Face Goretex shoes, REI Cycling Jacket, Cabelas polypro and windshield fleece pants.

As large people in a skinny persons sport, can be difficult at times. Being a Clyde my entire life, I have never let my size dictate what I should or shouldn’t do. At 300lbs I took off on a 200 mile self supported tour of Victoria and the San Juan Islands.  In better times I make the 8 mile trip to and from work, usually only taking on average 10 minutes longer than when I drive. 

Over time I hope to go over things that have made my life a little easier while on my bike. From clothing to gear there is a lot to talk about.
